About

I was first serious about photography in the early 90’s while living in Paris. However, when I left Paris I basically abandoned photography – it was just too hard to get film developed in the backwaters where I was living. It wasn’t until the end of 2007 that I again felt a photographic itch, sold my film cameras, ’upgraded’ to digital and started to shoot everything…

Not sure I ever really set out to be a ‘photographer’ whatever the definition of that may be but now I suddenly have an archive of tens of thousands of images sitting in the dark closets of my portable hard drives – and I keep adding to that archive.

I am entranced with the way photography reflects our inner lives and how it brings out my childhood playfulness and curiosity, allowing me to experiment, explore, and learn.
